Getting started
What does Korvanta actually do?
We are an execution platform, not a broker. We take a requirement and own it end to end — sourcing, supplier qualification, quality assurance, logistics, and trade execution — so one accountable partner delivers the outcome, not just an introduction.
How do we get started?
Send us your requirement through a consultation. We confirm we are the right fit, then scope the sourcing, inspection, and delivery for your case. It is a conversation with the team that executes — no obligation.
What can you procure?
Any sector, through four divisions: Machinery (equipment), Automotive (vehicles & fleets), Logistics (freight & corridors), and Global Trade (managed procurement programs). If it is manufactured in China and you need it delivered accountably, we can scope it.
Sourcing & quality
How do you know a supplier is real?
Before any order, we verify the manufacturer on the ground — capability, capacity, and export track record — and qualify them against your requirement. We do not hand you a list of factories; we reach the right one and stand behind it.
What stops us receiving the wrong or low-quality goods?
Every order passes a pre-shipment inspection against your specification before it leaves China — issues are caught before the goods ship, not after they arrive. The inspection produces documentation you keep.
Do you just send us a list of factories?
No. Access to factories is not the hard part — accountability is. We source, qualify, negotiate, monitor, and deliver as one managed program, and we own whether what arrives matches what you specified.
Logistics & delivery
Do you handle shipping and customs?
Yes — sea, air, and road freight along established China-to-market corridors, including collection, consolidation, documentation, customs, and delivery. Because the same partner procures and moves your goods, single accountability is real, not split across contracts.
Which markets do you serve?
Established corridors across Southern, East, and West Africa, the Middle East, and selected emerging markets. If your market is not listed, ask — we will confirm the route.
Can we track our order?
Yes. Once your order is open, the Client Portal shows exactly where it is in the process and its current payment status — so there are no surprises on either side. You can also quick-track a single order with its reference and access code.
Commercial & payment
How do payments work?
Payment is structured around your order's milestones and settled through the established instruments of international trade — telegraphic transfer (T/T), letter of credit (LC), or escrow — with the exact terms confirmed on your proforma invoice before anything proceeds. We do not take card checkout; funds move as the work does.
Is there a minimum order?
There is no fixed catalogue or minimum — scope is set per requirement, from a handful of units to a national program. Bring us what you need and we will scope it honestly.
Governance & accountability
Who is accountable if something goes wrong?
One partner — Korvanta — across the whole chain, from your first requirement to final delivery and after-sales support. There is no chain of intermediaries passing risk; you hold a single party responsible for the outcome.
What documentation do we get?
Each stage produces records you can hold — inspection reports, supplier qualification, and trade documentation. Client references and verified performance metrics are shared under NDA during consultation.
