Compliance & Governance

Compliance isn’t a footnote. It’s the product.

Our model exists to take risk out of cross-border trade. That begins with how we operate — the standards below apply to our team, our agents, and the suppliers we engage.

Last updated 11 July 2026

1. Anti-bribery and anti-corruption

We have zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in any form — whether offering or receiving. That includes kickbacks and facilitation payments. This standard applies to everyone acting on Korvanta’s behalf, and we expect the same of the suppliers and partners we work with.

2. Trade compliance and sanctions

We screen counterparties and observe applicable export-control, sanctions, and restricted-party requirements. We do not knowingly facilitate prohibited or diverted trade, and we handle dual-use goods only with the proper authorisations in place.

3. Counterparty due diligence

We qualify suppliers and verify clients before funds or goods move. This due diligence is built into our seven-stage process — not an afterthought — so that every party in a transaction is known and accountable.

4. Quality and product compliance

Goods are independently inspected before shipment and documented against the agreed specification and relevant standards. We would rather hold a shipment than let non-conforming goods reach a client.

5. Financial integrity

We settle only through transparent instruments — bank transfer, Letter of Credit, or escrow — and never outside the terms of your proforma invoice. Where required, we may request information on the source of funds. See our payment terms.

6. Data protection

We handle personal information carefully and only as needed to serve you, in line with our Privacy Policy.

7. Ethical conduct and supply chain

We expect the suppliers we engage to meet lawful labour and workplace-safety standards and to deal honestly. Serious or repeated breaches end the relationship.

8. Raising a concern

If you believe anyone acting for Korvanta has fallen short of these standards, tell us. Contact [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp. We take every report seriously and do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

The framework behind it

These standards are operational, not aspirational.

Supplier qualification, factory verification, quality inspection, and documentation controls run on every order. See how the assurance framework works in practice.
